BIOGRAFY
Born in Belgrade in 1960.
Graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1989, the painting department.
At the National Museum in Belgrade, he passed his licence exam and became a painter-restorer.
At the same institution he woprked on conservation and restoration of paintings on canvas and wood.
As a rerstorer-team member he worked for the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments of Kragujevac and Smederevo, on restoring the frescoes of church Sv.Arhišakona Stefan (15th century)at the monastery Koporin.
He also worked on the restoration of mural painting in the Harbor building in Sochi, USSR.
At the Center for Cultural Heritage in Nicosia, Cyprus,he founded the Studio for restoration of icons.
As a chief restorer of the Center, he worked on preparation of the exhibition of icons of Cyprus,held in Strasbourg and Mulhouse in France.
He worked as a mentor of the subject Painting at the University for Third Age in Belgrade.
He wrote "Little Ermine of Vojislav Zograf," Handbook of painting technology.
He had three one-man exhibitions of icon-writings and participated in a number of group exhibitions presenting icon writings and/or conservation techniques.
His icons can be found home and abroad, as well as in collections of the Serbian Museum in Szentendre-Hungary, and in Serbian museum of bread in Pecinci-Serbian.
He is a member of ULUPUDS (Association of Fine and Applied Artists and Designers of Serbia) and ICOM (International Counsil of Museums), an independent artist.
